This project was created for Anima Jam, an annual challenge where animators have one week to interpret a specific theme. The 2024 theme was "Dreams and Nightmares." My main inspiration was "Mr. Sandman," the mythical figure who brings dreams to life. The visual direction specifically references a 1960s German children's show, where the Sandman travels in a hot air balloon.
